One of three famous "Backyard Photos" taken by Marina Oswald in March 1963. . . . The day after the Kennedy assassination, Dallas police released photographs of Lee Oswald holding the murder weapon in one hand and a copy of a communist paper in the other hand. These photographs, according to Dallas police, were taken in his backyard. One of the photographs appeared on the cover of Life Magazine in February 1964.
