Robert F. Oliver World War II Veteran

This site records the service of Robert F. Oliver -- my maternal grandfather -- who fought in the European Theater during World War II.

My grandfather served in the Ninth Airforce -- 386th Bombardment Group -- 554th Bombardment Squadron. He co-piloted a B-26 from September 1944 to December 1944, and piloted an A-26 from January 1945 to June 1945.

My grandfather completed 17 combat missions -- 53 combat hours -- over Germany.
